Abstract: FRAMEWORK ADJUSTMENT #9 TO THE NORTHEAST MULTISPECIES FISHERIES MANAGEMENT PLAN INCLUDES THREE EXEMPTION PROGRAMS REQUIRING PARTICIPANTS TO CONTACT THE REGIONAL OFFICE OF NMFS TO OBTAIN A LETTER OF AUTHORIZATION. PARTICIPANTS ARE IDENTIFIED FOR THE PURPOSES OF MONITORING THE EXEMPTION PROGRAM, DETERMINING APPLICABLE REGULATIONS, AND NOTIFICATION OF PARTICIPANTS OF CHANGES TO THE EXEMPTION PROGRAM.
