The National Park Service seeks to
understand in a systematic and replicable way user patterns and
related economic impacts of national scenic and national historic
trails. This survey is a 12-18 month test of a methodology prepared
by the North Carolina State University to be applied at sites along
the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail in Virginia,
Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
