specifically to standardization of application forms or this
collection generally. PTO should remove reference to sending
comments to OMB in the burden statement on all forms -- this is no
longer required. The OMB control # and expiration date must appear
on all forms. When forms are finalized, please send copies to OMB
for docket. We assume that "Declaration" form is only for utility
or design patents, since plant patents have a separate form. Please
indicate clearly on the Declaration form that this is the case so
that it is clear to applicants.
