The dietary and life-style data to be collected will be used to estimate radiation exposure and to determine whether Native American exposure differed substantially from that of the general population. Exposure estimates will then be used to determine whether a full epidemiologic study of thyroid disease, specifically in the Native American population, is scientifically justifiable and feasible.
