The COPS Officer Progress Report will be used to collect information concerning the basic characteristics and professional activities of each officer hired or rehired with COPS funds. COPS grant recipients will submit a COPS Officer Progress Report (for each officer hired or rehired) on a semiannual basis. The information will be used to monitor the progress of recipients in implementing community policing.
