Abstract: The adoption of these class exemptions under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) for purposes of the Federal Employees' Retirement System Act (FERS) would permit fiduciaries with respect to the FERS Thrift Savings Fund to engage in certain transactions that would otherwise be prohibited under FERSA.
