The prohibition on the use of Presence
Sensing Device Initiation (PSDI) is to be removed. To assure the
safety of the system, this final rule requires a certification
program. The manufacturers and employers who choose to use PSDI
will have to maintain some records in order to meet the
requirements of this standard.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
