As indicated in
OSHA's May report, "The New OSHA," the agency will undertake a
general consolidation of duplicative elements across current
standards, including the Cadmium - General Industry standard. This
consolidation will include regulatory provisions for training
programs, maintenance of records, monitoring of risk exposure, and
medical surveillance. In addition, as noted in the correspondence
of September 20, OSHA will determine the inspection costs for this
collection prior to the next submission.
