Approved with
the understanding that following the pretest BLS will provide OMB a
copy of the pretest questionnaire marked up to show where BLS plans
to make additional cuts in the final questionnaire. BLS will also
provide a brief summary describing where the questionnaire would be
changed from the pretest. BLS expects to send the markedup pretest
questionnaire to OMB in late November 1995 with the understanding
that OMB will raise any final comments within a very short time
(one or two days after receipt) to provide time for BLS response.
It is understood that BLS will notify OMB at least a week in
advance of the time the markedup pretest questionnaire will be sent
so that OMB can plan for the expedited review of the content of the
final survey.
