Abstract: In accordance with the Government Performance Results Act the Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurace is striving to measure program performance in terms of outcomes. Compliance assistance programs are a new component of state enforcement programs and need to be evaluated as a supplemental tool to be evaluated as a supplemental tool to traditional enforcement methods.
