FCC should
eliminate the OMB address in the "Public Reporting Burden"
statement. While this collection has been approved for over 3
years, it has never been invoked. If the FCC is employing the
Confidential Alternative Dispute Resolution process without using
this collection, the requirement for the collection should be
reexamined. The Commission's ADR Specialist should report their
intentions for using this collection to the Managing Director's
Office/Paperwork Clearance Office by September 1, 1996.

The Confidential Alternative Dispute
Resolution Statement will be completed by parties regulated by the
FCC who agree to attempt to resolve their dispute through ADR
techniques. It will provide the mediator/neutral with background
information essential to the case so that they can come to the
first session fully prepared.
