National Content Survey is approved according to the Paperwork
Reduction Act and 5 USC 1320 through December 1996. The material
received August 3, 1995, September 14, 1995, and September 21, 1995
is added to the docket. Item 19b on Form 2A should be changed : the
words "ordinary home" should be replaced with the words "personal
care."

The 1996 National Content Survey will
provide information needed to determine the subject content and
specific wording, format, and sequencing of items on the 2000
census questionnaires. Various alternative census questionnaires
will be mailed to a national sample of households.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
