Abstract: The regulations establish the content requirements for applications for permits for the commercial recovery of manganese nodules from the deep seabed by U.S. citizens pursuant to provisions of the Deep Seabed Hard Mineral Resources Act (P.L. 96-283) as well as to implement other provisions of the Act.
