Abstract: The survey is a sample survey that secures data on financial and operating characteristics of U.S. companies that are foreign owned. Universe estimates are developed from the report- ed sample data in onobenchmark years. The data are needed to measure, monitor changes in, assess the impact of, and make in- formed policy decision on foreign direct investments in the U.S.
