Abstract: INFORMATION COLLECTED UNDER THIS ICR IS NEEDED TO ENSURE THAT HAZARDOU WASTES ARE BEING PROPERLY MANAGED AND SO NOT POSE A SERIOUS THREAT TO HUMAN HEALTH AND THE ENVIRONMENT. IT IS USED TO DOCUMENT HAZARDOUS WASTE PRE-TRANSPORT PRACTICES, DOCUMENT NOTIFICATION OF APPROPRIATE PARTIES WHEN IMPORTING AND EXPORTING WASTES, DOCUMENT THE ADEQUACY OF PERSONNEL TRAINING, CONTINGENCY PLANS, AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROCEDURES.
