Abstract: Regulation B (ECOA, 12 C.F.R. 202) requires companies who regularly extend credit to retain records sufficient to show compliance with the rule; to provide applicants with information about adverse credit actions; and to provide notification to mortgage credit applicants concerning appraisal reports. This submission includes only the paperwork burden associated with creditors over whom the FTC has jurisdiction.
