This data
collection and the associated collections under 0607- 0001 and
0607-0152 are approved through June 1997 to permit the Census
Bureau to develop such changes as may be needed to support the
proposed International Trade Data System (NPR Recommendation IT06
-- see the charter from the Vice President dated 9-15-95). The next
submission should consolidate all activities addressed by these
dockets and include coordinated plans for the implementation of the
new system.

The Shipper's Export Declaration is
the basic form used by the Bureau of the Census for collecting and
compiling the official United States export statistics. The forms
are filed by exporters or their agents for each shipment from the
U.S. to foreign destinations, Puerto Rico, or the Virgin Islands
except as exempted by the Foreign Trade Statistics
Regulations.
