Abstract: Utah State University will conduct a survey using a formal questionnaire to collect data pertaining to household composition, the social organization of fishing families and communities, and commercial fishers' attitudes and beliefs about a variety of issues. The data collected will provide a historical profile of the fisheries and fishing communities in the Santa Barbara Channel-Santa Maria Basin Area.
