Abstract: The Department of the Treasury is issuing an interim rule to implement two new programs to be administered by the Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund: The Community Development Financial Institutions Program and the Bank Enterprise Award Program. These programs were authorized by the Community Development Banking and Financial Institutions Act of 1994. The interim rule also provides environmental quality procedure.
