Abstract: 26 U.S.C. 205(e) requires that persons who label alcoholic beverages obtain a certificate of label approval for labels used. Submission of these forms (ATF F 5110.31) allows ATF to ensure that labels used on alcoholic beverages contain all information required by regulations and do not contain prohibited, deceptive, or misleading information.
