Abstract: THE PROPOSED RULE PRESCRIBES THE REGULATORY REQUIREMENT FOR AN OUTSIDE INDEPENDENT AUDIT OF ANY FEDERALLY INSURED CREDIT UNION BY A CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT UNDER CERTAIN SPECIFIED CONDITIONS. THE RULE IS BEIN ADDED TO REFLECT APPLICABLE PROVISIONS OF P.L. 101-73, THE FEDERAL FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS' REFORM, RECOVERY AND ENFORCEMENT ACT OF 1989.
