Abstract: To document compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the related environmental statutes. Used by recipients of HUD assistance who are required to assume HUD's environmental responsibilities. HUD regulations require recipients to submit requests for release of funds and certify full compliance with NEPA and the related statutes using the procedures identified in 24 CFR Part 58. Recipients must also maintain a public record of each project's compliance.
