Abstract: FNS needs information to design nutritional programs for WIC infants. This study gathers information on breastfeeding; formula feeding; use of solid foods; and on the attitudes, knowledge, and living arrangements that shape WIC infant feeding practices. About 700 mothers of WIC infants are interviewed in a 1-year longitudinal study.
