Terms of Clearance: Approved as amended by ED's memoranda to OMB of 1/4/96, 1/25/96, and 1/31/96. In addition, ED has agreed to the following conditions: -- In October 1996, ED will report to OMB on the results of its analysis of the NSLDS interface and the extent to which that process can reduce the need for the Verfication Certificate and thus the burden of this form. ED will also provide a timetable for when that transition will occur, which should be as soon as possible. -- With this clearance, OMB withdraws the clearance of the Authorization to Release Information since ED will collect the same information on the application.
