Abstract: Federal law requires exporters of unregistered pesticides to obtain a statement from the foreign purchaser acknowledging that they understand that the pesticide is not registered in the U.S. and cannot be sold for use in the U.S. A copy of this statement must be transmitted to an appropriate official in the government of the importing country. Label requirements must also be met.
