This ICR is not
approved under 5 CFR 1320. As part of the final rulemaking, NRC
should address the comments submitted by the various commenters
concerning the practical utility of this collection as well as the
accuracy of the industry burden estimate. Particularly, NRC should
clarify the the relationship between the information collection
requirements of the Maintenance Rule (10 CFR 50.65) and the
proposed rule and should demonstrate that there is no duplication
of information collection requirements.

The proposed amendment would add
requirements for power reactor licensees to report annually to NRC
summary data for risk-significant systems and equipment and to
maintain on site for 5 years the records and documentation and
provide the bases for the report.
