Abstract: CERCLA requires that ATSDR conduct surveillance programs to determine relationships between exposure to toxic substances and illness. The activity will identify populations exposed to toxics and enroll them into a surveillance program or epidemiology study. Comparisons may then be made to analyze health outcome patterns.
