Abstract: The EPA must collect information on pesticide production from establishments in order to meet the statutory requirements of FIFRA section 7. Pesticide-producing establishments apply to EPA for establishment numbers. The EPA assignes number(s) and notifies the establishment of their assigned number(s). Upon receipt of an establishment number, the pesdicide-producing firm must notify EPA of the amounts and kinds of pesticides they produce, and then thereafter, they must notify annually.
