Abstract: This information collection is necessary to disperse funds to local education agencies (LEAs) in accordance with section 386 of Public Law 102-484, as amended by section 1074 of Public Law 104-106. In order to establish eligibility and calculate payments, DoD relies on data furnished by the Department of Education and information provided through an application by the LEA. Data will be reported to Congress. Respondents are approximately 120 LEAs in which over 20 percent of students are federally connected.
