As required by 1990 CAAA, section 202(a)(6), EPA is issuing onboard vehicle refueling control standards for light-duty vehicles (LDVs) and light-duty trucks (LDTs) up to 8,500 lbs. GVWR. LDV regulations will take effect 4 model years (MYs) after the MY in which they are promulgated and will apply to 40 percent of a manufacturer's sales the first year.
