Abstract: A longitudinal follow-up telephone survey of partents of children attending day-care centers to (1) determine the extent to which the size of day care centers are associated with the rates of illnesses/injuries for children attending day care; (2) estimate the differences in costs of illnesses/ injuries among children in small and large day care centers and cost impact on families; (3) compare health of families in both types.
