The Benefits Accuracy Measurement (BAM) program provides reliable estimates of the accuracy of benefit payments in the UI program and identifies the sources of mispayments so that their causes can be eliminated. This proposes extending the BAM program for 3 years while reducing average sample sizes and permitting States more flexibility in how they verify information pertinent to the sampled payments.
