Abstract: Electrical equipment and fire protection systems are necessary to promote the safety of life on USCG-certified vessels. The Coast Guard reviews plans and procedures to determine compliance and evaluate specifications of automated vessels. Vessel designers, shipyards, manufacturers, and owners are affected.
