This collection
covers a series of third party disclosure requirements being
developed by the FCC. OMB encourages the FCC to develop a consumer
education program that requires both PSAPs and wireless service
providers to work together. OMB believes that PSAPs have unique
technical requirements that must be incorporated into material
distributed to consumers by service providers. As approved, this
collection does not include any requirements that service providers
periodically report on their implementation of enhanced or E911
technologies. The FCC will have to modify this collection to
incorporate this requirement if part of an additional Report and
Order.
