INS/SSA plan to conduct an evaluation, INS shall provide an
analysis of how the employer reporting on new hires for
verification could be coordinated with New Hire Reporting required
in the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation
Act of 1996, Title III, Subtitle B. INS shall provide OMB with a
plan for this evaluation by December 31, 1996 which includes scope,
a timeline, and research questions. In addition, INS shall provide
an analysis of employer reporting which may be incorporated in the
existing Simplified Tax and Wage Reporting System (STAWRS) effort
to reduce the reporting burdens on employers. INS shall provide the
March 1996 interim report as soon as possible. INS request to not
display the expiration date is denied.

by the Immigration and Naturalization Service and the Social
Security Administration to verify employment authorization for all
new employees regardless of citizenship for those companies
participating in the JEVP.
