Abstract: This will be the first follow-up survey to identify and track changes in public knowledge, attitudes, and behavior related to occupant protection. Programmatic areas include safety belts, child safety seats, airbags, and helmet use (bicyclists and motorcyclists). Each of these areas have undergone significant technological development and/or new legislative mandates within the past decade.
