The third party
notification requirements contained in Section 95.1015 a) that
require that low power radio system manufacturers inform users
about the potential interference effects of the equipment are
included in this collection. OMB, in consultation with the FCC
added 200 hours to the burden and $10,000 to cover the startup
costs of 200 manufacturers.

The rule is necessary to ensure that
television stations that may be affected by harmful interference
from AMTS operations are notified.
