This information
collection request is approved through 10-99 according to the
changes outlined in the 10-11-96 FCS memo and accompanying charts.
Also as agreed to by the Agency, FCS will add instructions to C1 in
the Welfare Office memo to make it clear that the respondent does
not have to complete column three if this is the only matching
activity for the School Lunch Program conducted by the welfare
office. In addition, FCS will add instructions in the advance
letter to the SFAs that if they already have existing records with
the information in question 142, they have the option of providing
those records instead of completing the form. FCS may not use the
data collected in the Food Stamp/AFDC survey to make generalized
findings since these dat are not representative.
