Approved as amended by ED's memoranda to OMB of 10/29/96 and 11/7/96. In addition, ED has agreed to change to word "specimen" to "sample" for clarity with regard to signatures. ED shall also proceed with development of joint FFEL/Direct Loan forms as soon as possible, as many of the responses to SLMA's comments were premised on this new form. ED shall develop electronic filing alternatives as part of that consolidation.
