Abstract: 46 CFR 151 requirements ensure the safe shipment of bulk hazardous liquid in barges. Recordkeeping and reporting requirements are necessary to insure that barges meet part 151 safety standards and to ensure that barges' crew members have the information necessary to operate barges safely. Barge operators are affected.
