This collection
includes a number of third party and combined third party/FCC
notifications involving the FCC implementation of the
Telecommunications Act of 1996 overhaul of the payphone
compensation rules. While at OMB for review, the FCC, in response
to public comments, issued an order upon reconsideration revising
several of the items included in this submission and adding an
additional requirement. These items are approved and the revised
hours have been incorporated. The FCC should examine the costs and
burden associated with the local call rate posting requirements for
payphones and update this collection accordingly.
