collection
Agreement States must maintain
material regulatory programs compatible with NRC's and provide
biennial information on their programs. NRC uses the information to
ensure State radiation control programs are compatible with NRC's,
meet the requirements of the Atomic Energy Act, and are adequate to
protect the public health and safety.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
