OMB understands
that EPA is currently developing a burden reduction initiative for
the UIC program that is considering, among other options,
streamlinig of forms and a reduction in the frequency of reporting
(currently reports are filed by operators with the permitting
authority quarterly). OMB supports this initiative and asks to be
kept informed of its progress.
