Abstract: This is a study of products developed through the Instructional Materials Development (IMD) Program and their use, with comparisons made to widely adopted materials that did not receive IMD support. Included are a review of materials by content experts; interviews with developers, marketers, and key decisionmakers in districts and schools; and focus groups with teachers using the materials. The evaluation is the first of its kind.
