Abstract: The Scup Fishery Management Plan proposes comprehensive management measures to prevent overfishing. Existing reporting requirements applying to other fisheries would be extended to this fishery. These include permit requirements for vessel operators and dealers, limited entry permits for vessels, notification of sailing plans, and experimental fishing exemption applications.
