Abstract: Owners or operators of Lead Acid Battery Manufacturing Plants subject to NSPS must notify EPA of construction, modification, anticipated and actual start-up, and performance test results. Records of start-up, shutdown, or malfunction must also be maintained. This information enables the Agency to identify sources, ensure initial compliance, and verify continuous compliance with the emission standards.
