To complete a congressionally mandated evaluation of programs created under the National and Community Service Trust Act of 1993, CNCS must assess the impacts on students of the Learn and Serve America Higher Education (LSAHE) Program. The survey described here is an essential component of that assessment. The sample includes 2,000 college students, half enrolled in LSAHE-supported courses and half not enrolled in such courses. Results will be reported to Congress and the general public and be used by the Corporation for program improvement.
