Abstract: The New England Fishery Management Council has submitted Framework Adjustment 20 to the fishery management plan for the Northeast Multispecies Fishery (FMP) as part of an adjustment to the FMP to rebuild key stocks of groundfish. The following collections of information are included in this submission: a change in vessel permit categories for day and trip gillnet vessels, gear restrictions for day gillnet vessels; i.e., request for the appropriate number of net tags, reporting lost tag numbers and request for replacement, tagging the cod trip limit for trips south of 42 00' N. latitude, and call in requirement.
