generic clearance for all NEA application packages, including
associated forms and guidelines. This generic clearance does not
apply to surveys, evaluations, or other data collections used for
policy making purposes. The following condition of approval
applies: NEA will submit a single copy of each application package
whenever revisions are made. NEA must add the required PRA
statement 5 CFR 1320.5b(2)(i)to the application
packages/forms/guidelines upon reprinting.

applications elicit relevant information from individuals,
nonprofit organizations, and State and local arts agencies that
apply for funding in all of the Endowment's categories. This
information is necessary for the accurate, fair, and thorough
consideration of competing proposals in the review
process.
