Terms of Clearance: Any comments about the rulemaking specific to the cancellation petition should be brought to the attention of OMB before the rule is finalized. The footnote form for instructions is too hard to follow and too small to read. The items on the form should be numbered as most PTO forms with corresponding numbered instructions on the back. The PRA notice should use the new PRA 95 language (which appears in the rule in the paragraph above "List of Subjects"). There should be more room for the explanation of the grounds for cancellation.

Abstract: This collection is required by the Trademark Act, 15 U.S.C. 1051 and 15 U.S.C. 1064, section 14. The information is used by the PTO Trial and Appeal Board to initiate trademark cancellation proceedings. The public uses the information to initiate a cancellation request and to conduct research related to establishing and enforcing trademark rights.
